Treatment Reconciliation and Main Sync

Scope

Compared the current local checkout against GitHub main after the treatment work from the desktop conversation:

  • current story treatment;
  • treatment bridge TODO;
  • eighty-year middle architecture;
  • immersion and surface-reality principle.

Findings

The four dated notes are present on main and remain the detailed working sources. The active briefing already named the middle story, but the story spine, timeline, world note, and QA records did not yet make the new architecture and surface rule easy to retrieve together.

The treatment gives George a roughly seventy-five-year progression through public identities, the middle architecture uses approximately eighty years from False Victory to endgame, and the broader timeline uses a first-century / potentially 120-year frame from human integration to disclosure. These appear to be distinct clocks whose anchors still need to be mapped.

Reconciliation performed

  • Added links and status guardrails in 03 Context/CURRENT.md and CURRENT-TODO.md.
  • Added the new open questions to OPEN-QUESTIONS.md.
  • Connected the treatment and surface rule to STORY.md and WORLD.md.
  • Added the four-era working middle to 02 Story/Timeline/Timeline.md and Storyline.md without locking episode order.
  • Recorded the duration tension and Witness/Inheritor structure as visible QA issues.
  • Recorded the 2026-08-14 working decisions in 07 QA/Decisions.md.

No settled names, roles, lineage decisions, or existing contradictions were removed.

Sol audit correction

A second model pass corrected five integration issues:

  • moved the eighty-year middle out of the Before the narrated story container because it is the working body of the saga;
  • marked the initial middle-story map complete and replaced it with sequencing, viewpoint, and causal-handoff work;
  • represented bloodline, Samuel Jr., Witness, and lie-escalation developments as parallel threads inside the eighty-year span rather than events after it;
  • reclassified the 75/80/100-120-year issue as clock mapping rather than a demonstrated contradiction and removed the redundant Witness/Inheritor contradiction entry;
  • advanced the modified compiled-note metadata to 2026-08-14.
