Samuel Franklin / Konrad Fitzgerald Rewrite Reconciliation

Source decision

This desktop pass reconciles the author's August 17 Samuel/Konrad rewrite with the current local repository after fast-forwarding the recent GitHub updates.

Integrated direction

  • Samuel is the failed privileged son of wealthy senior members of Konrad Fitzgerald's fascist purity and bloodline organization.
  • His parents and the organization exile him after serious misconduct, including a sexual relationship with an underage girl. Additional abuses remain deliberately undefined.
  • Samuel separately falls into containment inside the future victorious American-equivalent empire.
  • Konrad remains the sincere ideological fanatic, breeding-program architect, and original leader of the world-conquest project and Great War.
  • Samuel maintains contact with his parents during the campaign, pretends to seek reconciliation, and covertly sabotages the faction from inside the future victor.
  • Konrad's faction still loses primarily through its own authoritarian failures; Samuel's betrayal materially worsens the defeat.
  • Konrad, his senior partner, Samuel's parents, and the surviving leadership then fall into the same containment environment Samuel already understands.
  • Samuel turns greater familiarity into indispensability, interprets defeat, builds the False Victory around George, and captures the faction's breeding and genealogy systems.
  • His revenge targets what the movement worships: bloodline, pedigree, purity, succession, inheritance, descendants, and replacement heirs.
  • The goal evolves from revenge for exile into attempted replacement of Konrad.
  • Archive Thriller / Dark Historical Reconstruction is the active project development style. Jurassic Park-style exposition is retired as current. Supporting registers remain cold historical reconstruction, political grotesque/leadership dialogue, close psychological prose, and the sparing turn.

Superseded compiled structures

  • Samuel independently receives a city, captures a country, launches the Great War, and loses his empire.
  • Samuel's history is organized around a fixed fifty-year rampage followed by several decades of capture and integration.
  • Samuel's parents are primarily an unrelated technology-leader dynasty.
  • Samuel's misconduct is an entirely unspecified future revelation or hidden allegiance.
  • George's exact pre-defeat placement is already settled as Samuel's deliberate fallback operation.

Older dated sessions remain historical development memory and may retain those versions.

Unresolved

  • Samuel's age at misconduct and exile.
  • The additional abuses that lead to exile.
  • The material and legal meaning of exile.
  • Samuel's path into containment and how long he understands the environment before the war.
  • Each parent's organizational role and susceptibility to the reconciliation performance.
  • Samuel's exact sabotage operations and what the containment system knows.
  • Konrad's political base and the detailed city/country/empire/Great War sequence.
  • George's placement mechanism, timing, and Samuel's original purpose.
  • When Samuel consciously moves from revenge to becoming Konrad's replacement.
