Cursor Story Sites Visual Redesign
Implemented 07 Coordination/2026-09-08 - Cursor Story Sites Visual Redesign. This was a visual and layout redesign only. Approved public copy remained the content foundation. No story canon was changed. The work was subsequently merged to main and deployed for review.
Visual direction
Both sites now use one advanced-containment-archive language: near-black engineered surfaces, warm ivory text, antique gold for history and evidence, cyan for Luminai and constructive tools, crimson for coercion, and green for completed work. Display serif is reserved for story titles and major narrative headings. Interface copy, navigation, and tools use sans-serif. Headings were reduced to a practical scale so the first screen shows explanation and a next action.
Remaining
Playwright was not installed in the implementation environment, so scripts/test_story_browser.cjs did not run. Local visual checks were reported only at desktop and 320px. Subsequent author review found indistinguishable Project Explorer link destinations and no Project Explorer mobile hamburger, along with related responsive defects. Repair is specified in 07 Coordination/2026-09-08 - Cursor Project Explorer Navigation Repair.
