Fascist Purity and Coercive Compromise Systems

Story need

Develop two fictional criminal ecosystems with historically grounded mechanisms and clearly different operating styles: Konrad's public authoritarian purity hierarchy and Samuel's hidden compromise and blackmail network.

Research questions

  1. Which people, identities, art forms, relationships, and institutions did historical fascist movements falsely define as contamination or degeneracy?
  2. Which genuine social harms did those movements claim to oppose, and how were those claims used to justify broader persecution?
  3. Which forms of coercion, sexual violence, humiliation, surveillance, blackmail, family control, reproductive policy, and elite hypocrisy did fascist regimes practice themselves?
  4. How do authoritarian hierarchies fail when loyalty, ideological certainty, and fear suppress accurate information?
  5. How do compromise networks recruit intermediaries, isolate targets, create dependency, distribute deniability, and capture institutions?
  6. What ethical evidence models expose a network without publicizing victims or treating descendants as proof objects?
  7. What rehabilitation, accountability, and exit structures are credible for adults who were initially coerced but later facilitated harm?

Required source separation

The report must keep three categories distinct:

  • innocent identities and populations persecuted by fascists;
  • harmful conduct fascists claimed to oppose;
  • coercive and criminal conduct fascist regimes or elites practiced.

Never treat a persecuted identity as equivalent to a harmful behavior. Never import fascist moral categories into neutral analysis.

Fictionalization boundary

  • Use authoritative historical and scholarly sources.
  • Extract generalized behaviors, institutional mechanisms, and failure patterns.
  • Do not name or model a contemporary person, organization, scandal, or victim in final story material.
  • Do not build one-to-one historical analogues or reproduce real insignia.
  • Research is advisory and cannot establish canon.

Intended outputs

  • a sourced comparative mechanism matrix;
  • a list of invented story-safe mechanisms for each faction;
  • ethical framing and terminology guidance;
  • evidence and containment implications for Sylvan;
  • contradictions and author-gate questions, not automatic story decisions.
