Continuity and Adversarial Critique
| ID | Class | Impact | Claim/problem | Evidence paths | Why it matters | Safe options / exact question |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| W27-01 | gap | critical | structural alpha priority exists without an exact lock event or bounded permission model | hierarchy brainstorm; Samuel/Konrad notes | otherwise the twist can feel retroactive or omnipotent | continue Question 4 one at a time after SC-010 |
| W27-02 | gap | critical | Konrad's reactivation must be a voluntary, legible act with recorded consequences | S-008; hierarchy brainstorm | causality depends on his choice, not automatic punishment | what does Konrad personally authorize or reconnect? |
| W27-03 | tension | high | Samuel controls experienced reality while human agency and evidence must remain recoverable | governance rules; current context | too much control erases responsibility and mystery | define resistance, memory, audit, and external correction limits |
| W27-04 | drift | high | Story Map still names S-008 as the highest-value next unit while Current Pickup governs SC-010 | STORY-MAP; CURRENT-PICKUP | two resume points can fracture workflow | reconcile after author-approved workflow advance |
| W27-05 | gap | high | the final proof families lack dependency order and custody | research synthesis; S-020 | a single overloaded ceremony would compress too many reversals | select one lead proof family after author review |
| W27-06 | intentional open question | medium | viewpoint ownership and three major clocks remain unmapped | OPEN-QUESTIONS; timeline | sequence choices could be premature | leave open until evidence handoffs are known |
| W27-07 | status risk | high | researched command roles and ethical evidence are vivid enough to be mistaken for canon | reports 42-46; possibilities packet | research cannot establish system rules | keep labels visible and require an explicit author gate |
Chronology
Samuel's age anchor, thirty-year prewar exile, roughly eighty-year coup, George's role sequence, and wider integration-to-disclosure span still need common anchors. No contradiction was resolved by inventing dates.
Character knowledge and agency
The strongest current design gives Samuel asymmetrical knowledge, not omniscience. Konrad must possess enough genuine evidence of autonomy to act rationally within his ideology. George must retain meaningful choices even inside a maintained reality.
Causality and convenience
Every Samuel lie should be mapped to the person who believes it, the action it produces, the benefit it creates, the contradiction it generates, and the later consequence. This is the cleanest safeguard against villain exposition replacing causality.
Systems, permissions, and limits
Human decision authority, shared-environment alpha priority, story functionality, modern-device integration, and cross-bond coordination must use one coherent permission vocabulary. The research offers vocabulary, not answers.
Evidence, custody, and authentication
The project has many strong evidence families but not yet a complete chain from creation to custody, authentication, protected comparison, public consequence, and descendant privacy.
Authority/status contamination
No non-canon possibility or research recommendation was promoted during this run. The August 28 handoff was checked against current sources and corrected where the August 26 author decisions were more specific.
