Seeds of the Throne

Seeds of the Throne began as years of conversations and thousands of story ideas. The Project Explorer shows how those ideas are being organized into characters, a world, a timeline, and a finished series.

Interpretive still life of recovered records aligned against hidden-system evidence.

Recovered records held against the working evidence.

The Project Explorer shows the live notes, decisions, and workshop used to develop Seeds of the Throne. Each step keeps confirmed decisions separate from suggestions and unanswered questions.

This is a public, read-only look at the real project, so it contains full spoilers. You can try the workshop, but your draft stays in this browser unless you export it.

  3. Accepted answers are added where they belong.

An accepted decision can update character notes, the timeline, world rules, plot events, and the list of remaining questions.

  4. Use the completed plan to write and revise scenes.

The planned system will create scene outlines, draft prose, check continuity, revise weak sections, and assemble the manuscript for the author's approval.

Vault overview

See the whole story-development system at a glance.

605 notes work together as one system. The vault remembers where ideas came from, what the author decided, what remains uncertain, and what should happen next.

The vault turns conversations into organized story memory. It preserves sources, separates decisions from suggestions, finds missing connections, supports research and workshops, prepares scenes and prose, checks continuity, and publishes selected material without surrendering author control.

Needs repair

  • One trustworthy current-state view
  • Automatic checks before a change is merged
  • Shared labels and stable record identifiers
  • Updating every affected note after a decision
  • Keeping the weekly cycle current
  • Clearer boundaries around older folders
  • A cleaner split between the repository and the live site

Planned next Not built yet

  • Durable integration of conversational answers
  • Automatic reports of what a decision would change
  • Complete scene-to-manuscript production
  • Manuscript assembly and export
  • Reliable mobile save, resume, and synchronization

The next build order

  1. Make builds and checks reliable.
  2. Create one trustworthy current state.
  3. Normalize the records for one small complete path.
  4. Connect accepted decisions to every affected file.
  5. Prove one complete path from conversation to approved manuscript material.
  6. Expand only after that path works.

Current story development

See what the story already has and what it still needs.

The system checks the whole story for missing causes, weak character decisions, unclear rules, and unfinished events. The results show the author what to work on next.

Current story premise

The colonization process trains participants and contains dangerous criminals.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

The current story problem Make the formal separation, rapid financial collapse, processing, exposure, and accepted placement feel inevitable.

Workshop Module 03 — Placement Draft

Gate

What placement decision can this process legitimately make about a bonded person?

Author answer — verbatim

Older leaders are going to create a placement process with extensive assessment to determine the qualifications of the newly trained and newly bonded humans in Lumina.

Author addition:

Yes, one addition, it allows the human and Luminai to place themselves based on actual path decisions and skills instead of arbitrary placement by the older leaders

Later author addition:

I want to make an update. I'm not sure which this would be placed in, but in the assessment phase, a human luminized pair that does good enough can be given a group or a house that comes with a lot of resources and involvement in the colonization process. That's a very big deal.

Transcription normalization: “human luminized pair” is treated as a human–Luminai pair.

Transcription normalization: “Lumina” is treated as the established term Luminai.

Exact restatement — author-accepted

The placement process determines which roles and responsibilities a newly trained human–Luminai pair is qualified to undertake. The older leaders create an extensive assessment framework, but they do not arbitrarily assign the pair's future. The human and Luminai place themselves by choosing among paths supported by their actual decisions, developed skills, and demonstrated qualifications.

The assessment establishes credible options and consequences for self-placement. It does not determine a person's human worth, prove moral superiority, or grant an automatic permanent right to govern. The pair chooses together while preserving the established rule that the human retains responsibility for consequential decisions.

For a pair that performs well enough, one available placement can be a House or group with substantial resources and extensive involvement in the continuing colonization process. This is a major earned opportunity rather than an automatic reward. Its threshold, structure, membership rights, resources, authority, oversight, and responsibilities remain unresolved.

Workshop interpretation

  • Selected direction: participant self-placement within role-specific qualifications established through extensive assessment.
  • Legitimate decision: which paths the pair's real decisions and developed skills have made available.
  • Institutional role: the older leaders create and maintain the placement and assessment framework rather than choosing each future arbitrarily.
  • Participant role: the human–Luminai pair chooses its own path from the options it has credibly qualified for.
  • Authority boundary: the pair chooses together while the human retains responsibility for consequential decisions.
  • High-level placement: sufficient performance can open the option to receive or establish a House or group with substantial resources and a major role in colonization.

Scene test — non-canon

One bonded participant demonstrates exceptional technical integration but poor judgment when other people can refuse. The assessment makes demanding technical work available but does not open unrestricted leadership. The pair may choose among its qualified technical paths. A second participant with less advanced integration may open and choose a different path through stronger judgment, cooperation, or recovery from failure.

Adversarial result

A brilliant coercive operator could produce orderly outcomes. The placement process must therefore assess qualifications relevant to each path rather than reward output alone. Self-placement is real choice among earned options, not permission to claim authority for which the pair has shown no qualification. Technical capability, judgment, accountability, restraint, collaboration, and response to correction may require separate evidence. The exact assessment dimensions remain unresolved.

Remaining uncertainty

  • Which placement categories and responsibilities exist?
  • Which assessment dimensions establish qualification for each one?
  • How are available paths presented so self-placement remains an informed choice?
  • Who evaluates the evidence and reviews the older leaders' framework?
  • Can a placement be provisional, appealed, changed, or revoked?
  • How are different levels or kinds of Luminai integration accommodated fairly?
  • What happens when a pair qualifies for several paths or for none of its preferred paths?
  • Does the qualified pair establish a new House, inherit stewardship of an existing group, or choose between those forms?
  • What resources, authority, obligations, membership rights, and oversight accompany a House-level placement?
  • What performance threshold makes this placement available, and can it later be reviewed or lost?

Compound Writing adaptation test

Tracks pass

The author's answer and addition contain no development-process residue. The restatement preserves the older leaders, extensive assessment, training, bonding, qualification, self-placement, and rejection of arbitrary assignment. The workshop analysis remains outside the proposed canonical statement.

The later House addition belongs in the result because it supplies a concrete example of what qualified self-placement can unlock. The explanatory phrase “That's a very big deal” becomes specific consequences: substantial resources and extensive involvement in colonization.

Pressure-turn placement

The original answer begins with who creates the system and reaches the legitimate placement decision at the end. The addition reveals the more important turn: assessment opens qualified paths, but the pair chooses its own placement. The revised order establishes the assessment boundary first and then makes self-placement the consequence.

This improves the answer because the module asks what decision the process may legitimately make. The process decides which paths are supported by evidence; it does not decide which life the participant must live.

Decision state

AUTHOR-ACCEPTED — the author confirmed the revised restatement, including self-placement and the human decision-authority boundary, on 2026-09-06.

The accepted result may now be promoted through the affected canonical notes and website projections. This supporting workshop decision does not complete or replace SC-010.
