615 notes work together as one system. The vault remembers where ideas came from, what the author decided, what remains uncertain, and what should happen next.

The system checks the whole story for missing causes, weak character decisions, unclear rules, and unfinished events. The results show the author what to work on next.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

What independent decision by Orzai is necessary for separation, exposure, or placement acceptance to succeed?
The workshop considered independent authentication, a protective refusal, leadership in the placement choice, and required concurrence for separation. An initial recommendation proposed that Orzai limit a raw public evidence release. The author chose a more fundamental action: Orzai permits the process to expose Samuel and leads Sylvan into accepting the completed result and making their final decisions.
Established: Orzai recognizes when the legitimate process has enough authority and evidence to complete Samuel's exposure. She allows the process to take over instead of continuing to center their lives on personally proving, pursuing, or narrating Samuel.
Established: Orzai accepts the result first and leads Sylvan forward into accepting it with her. She takes the leading role in their final decisions, including the transition into the exploratory period and the choices that will determine where they build their House.
Her indispensable action is not emotional reassurance. It is an independent leadership decision about when their adversarial responsibility is complete and constructive responsibility begins.
Sylvan's evidence-anchored focus helps them survive Samuel, but it also creates a danger: Samuel can remain the organizing subject of Sylvan's attention even after Samuel has lost. Orzai identifies the legitimate stopping point. She does not suppress evidence or forgive Samuel; she entrusts the completed exposure to the process designed to carry it.
Ending transition: process assumes exposure -> Orzai accepts the result -> Orzai leads the final decisions -> Sylvan moves forward with her -> exploratory placement begins
Without Orzai's decision, the plot can defeat Samuel while leaving Sylvan psychologically and practically organized around him. With it, the constructive ending belongs to Orzai and Sylvan rather than to Samuel's punishment.
