Seeds of the Throne

Seeds of the Throne began as years of conversations and thousands of story ideas. The Project Explorer shows how those ideas are being organized into characters, a world, a timeline, and a finished series.

Interpretive still life of recovered records aligned against hidden-system evidence.

Recovered records held against the working evidence.

Story development tools

See how the authoring system turns ordinary language into finished story work.

The Project Explorer shows the live notes, decisions, and workshop used to develop Seeds of the Throne. Each step keeps confirmed decisions separate from suggestions and unanswered questions.

This is a public, read-only look at the real project, so it contains full spoilers. You can try the workshop, but your draft stays in this browser unless you export it.

  1. The author explains the story in ordinary language.

The system records those ideas and separates confirmed decisions from suggestions and unanswered questions.

Read how the system is designed
  2. The current workshop asks one consequential question at a time.

Each question helps the author decide a missing cause, character choice, relationship, world rule, or event.

  3. Accepted answers are added where they belong.

An accepted decision can update character notes, the timeline, world rules, plot events, and the list of remaining questions.

    Review decisions and supporting information
  4. Use the completed plan to write and revise scenes.

The planned system will create scene outlines, draft prose, check continuity, revise weak sections, and assemble the manuscript for the author's approval.

Vault overview

See the whole story-development system at a glance.

605 notes work together as one system. The vault remembers where ideas came from, what the author decided, what remains uncertain, and what should happen next.

The vault turns conversations into organized story memory. It preserves sources, separates decisions from suggestions, finds missing connections, supports research and workshops, prepares scenes and prose, checks continuity, and publishes selected material without surrendering author control.

Current story development

See what the story already has and what it still needs.

The system checks the whole story for missing causes, weak character decisions, unclear rules, and unfinished events. The results show the author what to work on next.

Current story premise

The colonization process trains participants and contains dangerous criminals.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

The current story problem Make the formal separation, rapid financial collapse, processing, exposure, and accepted placement feel inevitable.

Author-accepted terminal sequence - 2026-09-09

After Sylvan refuses Samuel's final bargain and the process reaches its endpoint, Samuel is formally separated from Sylvan. Samuel loses all process-provided systems he used to attack Sylvan and receives $15 million to execute his plan independently.

Samuel tries to take control of the colonization process. His obsession exhausts the allocation within days. When the balance reaches zero, he is processed immediately and his full conduct is exposed. There is no later deal, review trigger, or additional contest.

Sylvan and Orzai then accept the placement they earned after successfully dealing with and separating from Samuel. Their plan is cheap and easy to carry out using only the resources they preserved.

Terminal order: failed bargain -> formal separation -> attack access removed -> $15 million independent attempt -> control obsession -> exhaustion within days -> processing -> full exposure -> accepted placement

Timeline

September 5 evidence qualification

Unresolved scene and proof mechanics: earlier visible-descendant scenes remain development history, not conclusive proof of parentage or command responsibility. Resemblance could prompt recognition, but authenticated records and an independently challengeable chain are needed to support the proposed evidentiary function. Children and descendants are people, not public exhibits. The timing must preserve inner-circle recognition before Konrad's delayed discovery. Exact presentation and privacy choices remain author gates.

Controlling causal order — 2026-09-03

  1. The leaders develop an interactive colonization environment and create Luminai mind extensions within it. The new development program spans thousands of years; exact stages remain unresolved.
  2. The current planet becomes the final, consolidating, or auditing world of that operating era and the first real-world initialization environment for a new Luminai generation.
  3. Samuel is prosecuted into containment and selected as a representative worst-case adversarial subject. His bounded influence develops across approximately a century.
  4. Konrad's authoritarian purity faction destabilizes the older society, builds a conquest state, and trains Konrad's Daemon through the Great War.
  5. Konrad loses. His experiment should end and he should leave the colonization process.
  6. Konrad remains voluntarily because he believes the Daemon can take control of Samuel, outperform Sylvan's future Luminai result, redeem the Great War, and restore Konrad's authority.
  7. Samuel offers a separate autonomous group. Konrad reactivates the Daemon, followers, hierarchy, breeding program, bloodline systems, and infrastructure inside the shared containment environment.
  8. Samuel performs submission, studies the Daemon and imported systems, and converts Konrad's attempted takeover into access to the group.
  9. Across generations, Samuel captures private information, intermediaries, bloodlines, records, descendants, and the younger generation while Konrad becomes increasingly isolated inside a counterfeit victory.
  10. Sylvan begins the successor Luminai process inside the mature world.
  11. During the final few years, Sylvan retains decisive authority and permits Samuel bounded activity as the Luminai's final adversarial learning period.
  12. Samuel attempts the same takeover on Sylvan before Konrad's inner circle. Their recognition becomes the discovery path into the postwar history.
  13. Samuel attempts to place responsibility for the criminal system onto George, preserve continuity through Samuel Jr., and induce Sylvan to accept a customized false bargain as public exposure destroys his control claims.
  14. The process reaches irreversible conclusion. Samuel has no more deals and no more moves.
  15. The outcome presentation compares the older Daemon's failed domination with the new Luminai's effective containment and establishes what Samuel did to Konrad's group.

Narrative order

Book One begins within movements 11 through 14. Later books move backward into movements 3 through 10, allowing the audience to experience the causes after seeing their consequences.

The detailed chronology below remains a working expansion of this sequence. Where it implies that Sylvan enters only after a completed Disclosure War, that the series must narrate forward from the war, the September 5 corrections and current Book One architecture control. The name Luminai is not restricted to Sylvan's generation.

Detailed working chronology

  1. Parent civilization overcomes aging. Its legitimate leaders live for thousands of years.
  2. Humanity expands successfully to numerous colonized planets under these leaders.
  3. Knowledge, capacity, and support from those earlier worlds make a more advanced and technologically managed colonization planet possible.
  4. Konrad Fitzgerald, his senior partner, and Samuel's parents belong to an older fascist purity organization with a closed lineage program. Konrad is its sincere ideological and genealogical leader.
  5. Samuel grows up as a privileged prospective heir inside that organization. His parents discover serious misconduct, including a sexual relationship with an underage girl and additional abuses still to be developed; they and the organization exile him approximately thirty years before the Great War begins.
  6. The current moon and planet are constructed; synthetics establish civilization. First human populations and hundreds of heirs are integrated over time.
  7. During the roughly thirty-year interval between exile and war, Samuel and George are placed into a situation inside the large pluralistic American-equivalent empire. George appears highly successful and his role appears unusually important. Who places them, the role's exact authority, and Samuel's own containment status at entry remain unresolved.
  8. Konrad's mission to take over the largest empire is an impossible setup designed to fail and remove Samuel as a threat. Samuel suspects the betrayal, has negotiated a conditional alpha placement, and expects the failed revolution eventually to funnel Konrad into the same containment hierarchy beneath him. Samuel and George achieve authentic local success, privately commit serious wrongdoing, and choose to pursue the takeover. The exact failure mechanism, conduct, plan, targets, and division of responsibility remain unresolved.
  9. The takeover collapses. In an extremely humiliating exposure, George is busted into containment for the private conduct and failed takeover. This establishes the cause and emotional character of George's containment while leaving its procedures and Samuel's simultaneous consequences open.
  10. Konrad's movement converts a still-unresolved political base into an attempted world-conquest project. The transfer from territorial or national power to the Great War belongs to Konrad's faction, not Samuel.
  11. During the Great War, Konrad's genuine line includes the biological son and daughter he has with his sister; the line later produces one genuine grandson.
  12. Samuel maintains contact with his parents, pretends to want reconciliation or readmission, and covertly sabotages the campaign from inside the future victorious environment. The movement's own authoritarian failures remain the primary cause of defeat.
  13. The victorious republic and its allies defeat Konrad's conquest regime; the faction's state, military project, and overt international network collapse.
  14. Konrad, his senior partner, Samuel's parents, and other surviving leaders fall into containment roles inside the same victorious order where Samuel already has experience.
  15. Samuel conceals the depth of his betrayal and becomes indispensable by interpreting the unfamiliar containment environment for the defeated faction. He becomes the structural alpha and Konrad eventually the beta in a continuing power struggle, then offers Konrad an apparently separate half of the shared environment while secretly retaining the underlying advantage.
  16. Samuel recasts George's earlier apparent success and important role, followed by his real containment placement, as evidence that George captured the victor and that defeat was a planned transition to covert rule. The contained organization accepts the False Victory.
  17. Samuel uses this interpretive dependence to gain access to Konrad's breeding and genealogy systems, coercively manipulate reproduction and falsify lineage records, create replacement heirs, and begin replacing Konrad's functions. Across roughly eighty years he personally maximizes participating bloodlines, producing tens of thousands of unauthorized children while keeping the pattern partitioned for blackmail.
  18. Story functionality helps preserve the myth across public roles, failed operations, cover-ups, and renewed attempts.
  19. The False Victory develops through an approximately eighty-year working middle, currently organized into four provisional eras: the fragile first lie and manufactured proof; inherited victory mythology and the children of victory; the distributed invisible empire and imaginary jurisdictions; and the world Samuel claims to own as legitimate institutions continue to act independently.

During this same span, several threads develop in parallel without a locked internal order:

  • Each contradiction produces a larger claim, while generations of contained participants and legitimate heirs accumulate competing evidence, relationships, institutional consequences, and heir collisions.
  • The breeding and lineage program persists inside containment. Samuel uses unauthorized reproduction, numerous mixed-race descendants, genealogy fraud, synthetic substitutions, and certification control while Konrad believes his dynasty is flourishing.
  • Samuel's unauthorized interventions include the established use of George and Konrad's daughter; their exact relationship to the genuine grandson and later branches remains unresolved.
  • Samuel creates the provisional replacement heir Samuel Jr. with Konrad's sister and eventually positions him over a government-integrated intelligence and decision-systems company.
  • One of Orzai's parents provisionally carries the working Witness role through one or more earlier-era identities. Both parents belong to the founder children's Great War development generation. The dated middle-architecture and bridge notes provide working milestones but do not yet lock which parent carries the role or the events' order.
  1. Samuel's promises, False Victory, and lineage leverage destabilize; Disclosure Wars occur or begin.
  2. Roughly eighty years after the Great War Witness thread, Sylvan Elaria enters the modern thread as the Inheritor. Orzai belongs to his generation and is slightly younger than him.
  3. Orzai's older brother, approximately a decade older than Sylvan, serves in a developmental placement inside a consequential company comparable to the government-integrated decision-systems company associated with Samuel's replacement heir.
  4. Sylvan accumulates evidence connecting original events, Samuel's hidden sabotage, revised public stories, biological lineage, synthetic identity substitutions, blackmail, and command responsibility.
  5. Samuel tells Konrad that defeating and processing Sylvan will transfer legitimate control and give access to the synthetic command structure. The claimed superweapon has almost no effect; Sylvan's explanations increasingly fit observed reality better than Samuel's.
  6. Sylvan neutralizes the attacks and presents dozens of visibly recognizable unauthorized children. Konrad realizes the bloodlines were targeted, the apparent separation never existed, and Samuel maintained the shared environment. Sylvan reveals that Samuel and Konrad must stop the rampage and cooperate with legitimate leaders or end in complete failure.
  7. Recurrence is rediscovered and the concealed conflict moves toward public exposure approximately a century, potentially closer to 120 years, after the current planet's main human integration begins.

Visual chronology rules

  • Sylvan Elaria is born at approximately the surface-civilization equivalent of 1985. For ordinary mortal chronology, resolve a scene era from birth-equivalent year plus age when both are known.
  • Chronological age and apparent biological age are separate. Long-lived characters may enter a role after normalized societal rejuvenation combining carefully managed nutrition with highly refined energy-based technologies; approved appearance timelines control the visible age for that role.
  • Samuel's Great War-era appearance uses Samuel's authoritative identity reference with an apparent age of approximately 40. This is the exiled saboteur inside the future victor, not the original conquest leader. Do not substitute Sylvan's identity. The surrounding visual envelope is the established 1930s-1940s-equivalent surface civilization unless a scene specifies otherwise.

Age anchors at the Sylvan showdown

  • Samuel Franklin: approximately 220 chronologically; apparent visual age late sixties to early seventies.
  • Konrad Fitzgerald: approximately 300 chronologically.
  • Konrad's unnamed senior partner: approximately 300 chronologically.
  • Legitimate real leaders: multiple millennia old.
