title: Break the altered reality
gate: What proof separates the existing prophecy from Samuel's target assignment and lets the groups act?

EG-12: Break the altered reality
Purpose
Design the structured reveal that lets participants preserve, revise, or reject their beliefs while withdrawing practical obedience from Samuel.
Established
The Resistance owns the historical evidence chain. Sylvan and the Luminai preserve the live repetition. Konrad's inner circle recognizes that the current target assignment repeats the method used after the Great War. Legitimate institutions authenticate the outcome.
The decisive proof is not that the prophecy failed. It is that Samuel selected Sylvan, manufactured the apparent confirmations, revised the interpretation, and used the same access pattern against several groups.

Four possibilities
- Revision trace: Samuel's private corrections match each public sacred reinterpretation.
- Cross-group comparison: distinct leaders discover that their supposedly unique missions share Samuel's language and timing.
- Independent custodian: a legitimate interpreter shows that Samuel bypassed or falsified the tradition's own process.
- Action-first reveal: one group protects Sylvan or releases records before every doctrinal question is resolved.
Central author gate
What is the first undeniable connection between Samuel and the identification of Sylvan, who authenticates it, which group acts first, and how does that action make the wider disclosure irreversible?
Scene test
The reveal changes permissions, loyalties, and physical danger in the same sequence, rather than ending as an explanatory speech.
Adversarial test
If exposure requires everyone to abandon faith, the story attacks belief instead of fraud. If the evidence only shows Samuel had an opinion, it cannot break the altered reality.
