The Project Explorer shows the live notes, decisions, and workshop used to develop Seeds of the Throne. Each step keeps confirmed decisions separate from suggestions and unanswered questions.

This is a public, read-only look at the real project, so it contains full spoilers. You can try the workshop, but your draft stays in this browser unless you export it.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

RW-01: Book One terminal sequence

Purpose

Connect the existing final confrontation to formal separation without adding another victory mechanism.

Established

Samuel's customized bargain fails. Sylvan and Orzai already possess decisive endgame control. Samuel is formally separated, loses process-provided attack systems, receives $15 million, exhausts it within days, and is processed and exposed. Sylvan and Orzai accept their placement.

The story has not yet named what Sylvan and Orzai finish, prove, survive, or activate that makes separation execute and prevents Samuel from delaying it with another bargain.

Four possibilities

  1. Qualification threshold: their completed bonds and surviving record automatically satisfy the process's placement standard. Clear and rule-based, but needs early setup.
  2. Final refusal: Sylvan's refusal of the controlled-story bargain completes the last required agency test. Strong character turn, but cannot make the entire process depend on one answer.
  3. Evidence threshold: authenticated evidence reaches a precommitted standard that ends Samuel's attached access. Strong causality, but risks making qualification secondary.
  4. Combined threshold: survival, bond completion, and verified refusal together satisfy a rule established earlier. Most complete, but must remain simple enough for readers to understand.

What exact completed condition makes Samuel's formal separation from Sylvan inevitable?

Name the condition and the observable state change. Do not yet plan Samuel's spending scenes.

Scene test

Samuel offers one more bargain. Sylvan refuses. Something changes that no speech or reinterpretation can reverse. What does every person in the room see or lose access to?

Adversarial test

If Samuel can still delay separation by inventing a new deal, the process is not final. If the rule appears for the first time in this scene, it is a convenience rather than payoff.
