gate: Which four to six events must occur for the ending to be earned rather than merely reached?

BA-05: The indispensable middle
Purpose
Replace a long sequence of similar attacks with a cumulative ladder in which each event changes capability, relationship, evidence, or available choices.
Established
The reserve and employment stages teach resource discipline, independent cooperation, and disciplined reality-and-ethical anchoring. Samuel escalates as the deadline approaches. Sylvan and Orzai must preserve their voluntary partnership and demonstrate placement-worthy conduct.

Four possibilities
- Capability ladder: each environment teaches one necessary survival or verification skill used later.
- Cost ladder: each success protects one thing but causes a different material, relational, or reputational loss.
- Evidence ladder: each episode converts a suspicion into increasingly authenticated proof.
- Braided ladder: four to six episodes each advance at least two of capability, cost, evidence, relationship, and deadline pressure.
Central author gate
Which four to six indispensable episodes connect the opening to certification, and what irreversible change does each episode produce?
Scene test
Removing any selected episode creates a visible hole in the ending's causality or emotional credibility.
Adversarial test
If several episodes teach the same lesson or restore the same status quo, compress them. If an ending capability appears without a prior failed or costly use, it has not been earned.
