BA-06: Sylvan and Orzai's relationship arc
Purpose
Build the emotional and ethical path to Orzai accepting the result first and leading Sylvan into their shared future.
Established
Their partnership must remain voluntary under interference. Both complete independent human–Luminai bonds. Orzai ultimately lets the legitimate process carry Samuel's exposure, accepts the completed result, and leads Sylvan into the final decisions.

Four possibilities
- Pace conflict: Sylvan wants decisive exposure while Orzai insists on evidence, timing, or victim protection.
- Resource conflict: one wants to spend their remaining security to stop immediate harm while the other protects the capacity to reach placement.
- Trust conflict: manipulation makes one doubt whether the other's decision is independent or process-induced.
- Leadership inversion: Sylvan leads survival early, but Orzai's judgment becomes decisive when continuing the fight would preserve Samuel as their center.
Central author gate
What is their central disagreement, what independent costly choice does each make, how is trust repaired without erasing the disagreement, and why is Orzai the person who can lead the final acceptance?
Scene test
At least one major choice would change if either character were removed. Their eventual agreement contains something learned from the earlier disagreement.
Adversarial test
If they agree at every important moment, the final partnership is untested. If one is always correct and the other merely follows, the bond contradicts the story's independent-agency principle.
