The Project Explorer shows the live notes, decisions, and workshop used to develop Seeds of the Throne. Each step keeps confirmed decisions separate from suggestions and unanswered questions.

This is a public, read-only look at the real project, so it contains full spoilers. You can try the workshop, but your draft stays in this browser unless you export it.

Current story premise

The colonization process trains participants and contains dangerous criminals.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

The current story problem Make the formal separation, rapid financial collapse, processing, exposure, and accepted placement feel inevitable.

RW-10: Reverse-series handoff

Purpose

Let Book One end completely while making the Great War, false victory, and generational capture dramatically necessary rather than supplementary explanation.

Established

Book One begins near the chronological end. Samuel is processed and exposed. Sylvan and Orzai accept placement. Later books return to earlier events in the order that produces the strongest drama.

Four possibilities

  1. The first voluntary concession: who knowingly gave Samuel the access he later weaponized?
  2. The preserved warning: who recognized the pattern early and failed, refused, or saved evidence?
  3. The cost of betrayal: what did Samuel sacrifice when his plan was still strategic rather than compulsive?
  4. The captive's choice: why did Konrad remain when he could have left after defeat?

Central author gate

Which unresolved human question sends the reader from Book One into the earlier history?

Choose a question whose outcome remains emotionally uncertain even though readers know Samuel eventually loses.

Scene test

The final pages close Samuel's present action, show Sylvan and Orzai beginning their placement, and reveal one earlier choice whose full meaning Book One cannot contain.

Adversarial test

Do not withhold a fact Book One needs for its own resolution. The later book should deepen responsibility and contingency, not retroactively invalidate the ending.
