How the story is being developed
Ideas begin as conversations. The project organizes them, finds what is missing, and keeps every accepted decision connected to the story.

A well-written idea is not automatically part of the story. Research can make an idea believable, but the author still decides whether the story will use it.
How an idea moves into the story
- Find the notes connected to the idea.
- Identify the missing cause, character choice, or world rule.
- Compare several different ways the story could work.
- Test each possibility in a specific scene or situation.
- Ask the author one clear question.
- Add the accepted answer to every part of the story it changes.
The story is developed in stages. It begins with the overall structure, then adds causes, character choices, evidence, exact events, scenes, prose, and revision.
The story keeps changing, but nothing important disappears
The Luminai were developed inside the interactive colonization environment. Earlier participants use earlier versions. Sylvan's new bond is more deeply integrated. A Daemon is an evil AI soul, not the name of an older generation.
Book One now begins near the end, when Sylvan already controls the conclusion and Samuel is running out of moves. The unresolved work remains visible: safeguards, the physical interface, the postwar trap, and the difference between proving a pattern and exposing private people.
Astra's first assessment helped build a twenty-part workshop whose accepted results remain part of the project's history. The story then changed enough that the unfinished 27-task checklist began asking questions from an older version.
A whole-project reassessment retired that stale checklist and created a focused ten-part macro workshop. All ten questions were answered. They establish the terminal separation, Samuel's rapid collapse and processing, Sylvan and Orzai's accepted future, the authentication boundary, George and Konrad's different functions, the skills that earn survival, the primary leaders' vindication, and the genuine imperial bait that sends the series backward into history.
That workshop is complete, but the story is not. Later Book One and endgame workshops added more focused questions, then began to overlap as new assessments changed the story.
A focused September 17 reassessment added the Resistance and a new revelation method. The Resistance connects evidence that powerful people kept separate, while the Converging Revelation method tests whether a final discovery changes the meaning of earlier events instead of merely adding another secret.
The project now uses one dynamic workshop. After every desktop assessment, it updates the current canon baseline, newly accepted decisions, open questions, compatibility checks, and the next question. Older BA, EG, RW, Reveal Chain, and twenty-part workshops remain available as development history instead of competing active checklists.
The current pass asks how Samuel's supposed superweapon could appear real while Sylvan was severely disadvantaged, then fail once Sylvan began publicly exposing the structure behind it.
Evidence inside the fiction
An event can leave an operational record, a public explanation, and a sealed account. Recognition, authentication, attribution, and safe action are different achievements. The story should not ask one dramatic resemblance or one impressive display to do all four jobs.
It should not ask one hero to own every part of the truth either. The developing Resistance provides an independent route from scattered records to a verified causal chain. Sylvan may help act on that evidence, but the discovery remains distributed.
The author remains in control
AI can help organize the world, find missing causes, run workshops, plan scenes, draft prose, test continuity, and revise weak sections. It cannot quietly decide what the story means or turn an unapproved suggestion into fact.
The author supplies the story, the important choices, the corrections, the taste, and the final approval. The system supplies the time-consuming structure and production work needed to reach a finished book.
