Wildlife Meme Adventures Ribbon Legibility
Author direction
The episode ribbon has been too small to read in several recent Wildlife Meme Adventures images. When the ribbon is used, its title must be clearly visible at ordinary X feed size without opening or zooming the image.
Decision
Ribbon legibility is now a hard visual-QA and approval requirement rather than a photograph-specific preference.
- Judge the ribbon in a feed preview that preserves the episode's selected aspect ratio with its longest edge at 768 pixels, not only in the production master.
- The ribbon title must be immediately readable without zooming.
- Size ribbon lettering substantially above the supporting
LOCAL WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY identity; do not treat both as the same information level. - Use a ribbon wide enough for the episode title instead of shrinking the title to fit a decorative badge.
- When the title is long, widen the ribbon, reduce decorative side ornaments, or use a deliberate two-line treatment before reducing type size.
- If the ribbon fails at feed size, enlarge it before the image can be approved.
The corrected landscape version of THE SIGNAL CHECK is the current reference for the intended prominence: the ribbon remains secondary to the dominant joke, but it is large enough to read immediately within an image-determined canvas.
Vault impact
This rule affects future generation prompts, visual inspection, and approval. It does not require every episode to use a ribbon.
Ribbon legibility does not establish a fixed preview shape or poster size. See 01 Sessions/Daily/2026-08-19 - Wildlife Meme Image-Determined Format.
