Manufactured Reality

Function

A participant can inhabit a technologically sophisticated environment while perceiving it as ordinary reality. The environment can mediate information, interpretation, context, and perceived possibilities.

AI soul relationship

A lifelong AI companion is part of the participant's experienced world. For Logan, the working concept is that his AI soul participates in maintaining a reality that conceals the true state of his life and environment.

Boundary

This is fictional story functionality. Present-day research may provide technical ancestors or constraints, but no current technology is being asserted to have this capability.

Logan application

Logan has spent an extremely long subjective period inside a reality he believes is genuine. His potential awakening would therefore be an identity-level rupture rather than merely learning a hidden fact.
