01 · Foundation

The environment creates the bond.

The leaders developed Luminai within an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan tests a more deeply integrated generation after thousands of years of development.

02 · Institutional gap

Control must protect people.

Final-years control is established. Stopping authority, cumulative harm, privacy, and remedies still need concrete rules.

03 · Causal result

Autonomy becomes access.

Konrad's Daemon verifies an apparent separation. Konrad authorizes reactivation, which attaches his revived system to Samuel's hidden hierarchy. The false evidence still needs definition.

04 · Two-planet endgame

George goes where Samuel cannot.

Samuel and the older criminals remain on the previous containment planet. George participates directly on Sylvan's world, then becomes Samuel's intended scapegoat.

Integrated foundation review · September 5, 2026

The environment develops the bond. The outcome tests responsibility.

The leaders created an interactive colonization environment and developed Luminai within it. Konrad tries to prove his experienced daemon superior; Samuel turns his reactivation into access. Sylvan already has decisive control during the final years. Exact safeguards and presentation mechanics remain open.

The Throne Figure

Role

Primary authoritarian antagonist; Logan's father. Working identity, not final name.

Current definition

A contained criminal who maintains the belief that his faction won control of the colonization process even though the faction actually fell into containment. He understands the deception and has maintained it for decades.

Core motivations under development

  • Preserve authority.
  • Prevent his faction from learning that it lost.
  • Control genealogy and bloodlines.
  • Exercise power over the future of other people.
  • Preserve his personal mythology and legitimacy.
  • Prevent Sylvan's evidence from becoming known.

Logan

The Throne figure's son was placed into a separate contained environment before the wider faction understood what had happened. The father therefore has an additional layer of control over Logan and over the story the faction tells itself about Logan.

Breeding program

The breeding program is a major working mechanism because the faction places extreme value on genealogy and bloodline control. The Throne figure's use of that system becomes a potential weapon against his own people.

The exact fictional mechanism and consequences remain unresolved. Real historical groups and figures are development references only and must not enter final story canon.

Weakness

The Throne figure's power depends on concealment. Sylvan's recordings threaten the legitimacy of the entire structure, while Logan's possible awakening threatens the personal foundation of the deception.

Unresolved

  • Final name.
  • Exact political/organizational role.
  • Exact route into containment.
  • How he convinced his faction it had won.
  • Why administrators permit the deception.
  • Exact relationship with Sylvan.
  • Exact contents of the recordings.
  • Exact breeding-program mechanism.
  • Whether he believes his own mythology or consciously performs it.
