Seeds of the Throne

Seeds of the Throne began as years of conversations and thousands of story ideas. The Project Explorer shows how those ideas are being organized into characters, a world, a timeline, and a finished series.

Konrad stands under Samuel's hidden red control while Sylvan observes from the clear opposing side.

Story development tools

The workshop helps the author complete the parts of the story that are still missing.

It explains one story problem, asks one clear question, offers different possible answers, and shows what each answer would change. The author makes the decision. The accepted answer is then added to the characters, timeline, world, and plot.

This is a public, read-only look at the real project, so it contains full spoilers. You can try the workshop, but your draft stays in this browser unless you export it.

  1. The author explains the story in ordinary language.

The system records those ideas and separates confirmed decisions from suggestions and unanswered questions.

  2. The workshop asks one question at a time.

Each question helps the author decide a missing cause, character choice, relationship, world rule, or event.

  3. Accepted answers are added where they belong.

An accepted decision can update character notes, the timeline, world rules, plot events, and the list of remaining questions.

    Review decisions and supporting information
  4. Use the completed plan to write and revise scenes.

The planned system will create scene outlines, draft prose, check continuity, revise weak sections, and assemble the manuscript for the author's approval.

Current story development

See what the story already has and what it still needs.

The system checks the whole story for missing causes, weak character decisions, unclear rules, and unfinished events. The results show the author what to work on next.

Current story premise

The colonization process trains participants and contains dangerous criminals.

Humanity developed the Luminai inside an interactive colonization environment. Sylvan and his Luminai are tested against Samuel Franklin, a criminal already held inside the containment process.

The current story problem Explain how Sylvan can expose Samuel while Samuel still believes he can regain control.

Workshop Module 02 — Entry Draft

Gate

What did each class of participant knowingly accept before entry, and what can they refuse afterward?

Author answer — verbatim

They accepted the opportunity to participate, can exit at any time, and can trade in their results for their inheritance, the older leaders give them a chance, to become self made, in place of inheritance

Exact restatement — author-accepted

The legitimate heirs enter voluntarily. The older leaders offer them an opportunity to become self-made through the colonization process instead of beginning with their inheritance. They may exit at any time and return to the inheritance path, but doing so means trading away the results, placement, or independent standing they were developing through the process.

This voluntary exit rule applies to the heirs and other voluntary trainees covered by the author's answer. It does not automatically release convicted criminals from court-assigned containment. The entry and refusal rights of locally born descendants remain unresolved.

Workshop interpretation

  • Selected direction: a modified combination of informed voluntary entry and a continuing right to exit.
  • Core tradeoff: inherited position remains available, but the process gives an heir the chance to build an independently earned future instead.
  • Meaning of exit: leaving is allowed; the cost is giving up the developing process result rather than being physically trapped until completion.
  • Class boundary: court-assigned containment and voluntary development require different entry and exit rules.

Scene test — non-canon

After a serious setback, an heir asks to leave. An official confirms that departure is available and that the heir can return to the inheritance path. What cannot travel with the heir is the unfinished claim to a self-made placement produced by the process. A convicted participant then demands the same exit, forcing the institution to explain the difference between voluntary training and a containment sentence.

Adversarial result

The ability to return to an inheritance does not make participation meaningless. It makes the process a voluntary alternative to inherited power. Its result matters because it can establish an independent position, history, competence record, and placement that inheritance alone cannot provide. The exact benefits and what must be surrendered on exit remain unresolved.

Remaining uncertainty

  • What exactly is traded away when an heir exits: accumulated placement, assets, credentials, relationships, or only an unfinished evaluation?
  • Can an heir leave and later re-enter?
  • How much scenario information is knowingly accepted before entry?
  • What refusal rights exist after awakening but before a new developmental stage?
  • Which appeal, review, or sentence-completion routes exist for convicted participants?
  • What rights and obligations apply to descendants born inside the process?

Compound Writing adaptation test

Tracks pass

The author's answer contains natural conversational compression but no development-process residue. The restatement removes no substantive idea. Workshop analysis, class boundaries, and unresolved questions remain outside the proposed canon statement, where they belong.

Pressure-turn placement

The most important choice in the answer is the exchange between inherited position and a self-made result. The original wording places that relationship at the end. The restatement moves it to the beginning, then explains the continuing right to exit and its cost.

The pass adds useful clarity because “can exit at any time” could otherwise sound consequence-free. The reordered version shows that exit remains free while the two paths still produce different futures.

Decision state

AUTHOR-ACCEPTED — the author confirmed the exact restatement and voluntary-heir class boundary on 2026-09-06.

The accepted result may now be promoted through the affected canonical notes and website projections. This supporting workshop decision does not complete or replace SC-010.
